PARLOUR RELIEF PRINT LIMITED RUN
Parlour takes inspiration from old homes meant for entertaining guests. I grew up in a house built in the late 1860s by my ancestors (ye olde Trueman lineage). The parlour wasn't used for hosting in my time, so I really just wanted to craft a cozy fireplace and some weird artifacts that could convey a couple of ounces of personality from whoever the made-up homeowners might be. It features an open fireplace, some kid’s trophy, an oddly political portrait, and one of those aerial photos sold to rural homeowners.
Each of these are unique, and hand-printed on dedicated heavyweight printmaking paper. Oil-based ink. 280 gsm. Signed. The real deal. The good stuff. Kachow.
